migrating birds leave home behind
carrying nothing but their survival.
When it’s time,
when skies are once again blue,
the tides settled,
and wars at peace
they trace back the stars, the sun, and the earth’s magnetism they imprinted on
Dear Human
Be a bird,
a hummingbird flying backward
A butterfly Or a fish
Whichever form gets you by
But
Remember to always come back to your skin.
