This project was a sense of community. We were all from different backgrounds, but we were united by our passion for art and our desire to create something meaningful. We aligned our time, understanding, and energy to come up with one piece that projected each of our voices. That's the true power of collaboration, aligning your inner voices. This project was truly a labor of love, and I am proud of what we were able to accomplish.
Meqaqar.Live was a 24-hour creative challenge that brought together artists and creatives from across the UK and Africa. The goal was to create new work that explored the intricate tapestry of UK/African relations and challenged the narratives that have been told about these two continents within the theme "Conversations across chasms."
